As a writer I weep at the thought of books sold at 90% off. I weep for the bookseller too. A writer makes between 5-8% of a book at FULL price. The bookstore makes 40%. At 90%, both lose $$. There is no respect for "craftsmanship of publishing." It's just getting a book for next-to-nothing. I'm so glad you LOVE to read--that's good! Eventually there will be less books because writers will not be able to afford to do this crazy thing we do.
