As the wife and daughter of men who died with ALS--yes, husband and father with 2.5 years--I was on board for MAID here in Canada. (2016 and 2018) HOWEVER, as the mom of a young man who has struggled at times with mental health... this is horrendous! And gone WAY too far. We seem unable to put on brakes.

Someone recently pointed out that at this point in time there's no need to be in physical pain--so that should have made more changes than it has.
