I had to walk away once I began to get the same physical symptoms during the second practicum, too... every joint and muscle aching. I've never felt like that before; it was bad. To connect with, and accept, every kid in a class, takes time and intentional and daily acts. Thought. In a world with so many people, kids need--each one--to know somebody sees them.
