I'm not hearing this as outrage, but as concern and questioning.

"Just a fantasy" has--traditionally--covered a whole lot of shit.

It's really easy to have regrets from early adulthood; but in our contemporary world, unlike not so long ago, the evidence of poor decisions tends to stick around.

I do think young women are being handed lines--which they are biting--about "being in control" and such, but we tend to lack a lot of historical and emotional perspective on this.

You are quite right about other worse, sites, yes--agreed!!

Necessity should not be the motivating factor--at that point, it's NOT fantasy anymore. Fantasy is about freedom and desire/want. Necessity is just need.
