I've hiked Manning Park and seen Hozomeen from the north as well as from the south. It's incredible, awing.

This says so much about what it is to have "writing time" that gets spent not writing, but thinking, mulling, yearning, dealing with... Kerouac's reading of Buddhist writing to begin the day--very good.
