Jane Rule's novel "Memory Board" is about an ageing lesbian couple. I loved reading Rule's work back in the 80s. Her work was some of the original banned works for the small LGBT+ bookstore we had here in Vancouver ("Young in One Another's Arms" was considered ground-breaking when it came out).

How absolutely bizarre that this American fellow took such exception! Yikes. Best ignored, I say!
