Linda, this is so good, so true. It appalls me to see this reality in America. But we lose our Canadian medical people to south of the border, going for the bucks... That's a problem...

But the opening to your piece: I'm so sorry you've lost your Momma. I love how you describe her love for Christmas! Our mothers had and have much in common... including runaway 17 year olds :)
