My 25 year old son inspires me with his priorities. He works (reads, studies, discusses) to accept that the world is in a bit of mess, but that he doesn't have to buy in. He makes time for friends, for stopping to help someone on the street... and to do what he loves: to sing songs from the first 3 decades of the 20th century, wearing the old vintage clothes he's discovered in 2nd hand stores. so far, between music and event work he makes enough. And enough is enough.

He gives me hope. And I think about him, and slow myself, too...

A good thoughtful piece, Chris! Thank you!
