My agent did sell my memoir, to a smaller publisher. She did send it to the larger publishers in Canada, but not to the States because, she said, my platform wasn’t big enough. Only the smaller pub was brave enough to take it on — bless them.

I wrote it because I could not find anything about caregiving through a terminal diagnosis. (I did find and read a number of self-published on the subject, but they were dreadful.) Given that I could not find anything, I thought it would sell. (This is my 11th book.) But it’s been tough.

I sincerely hope you find an agent! And/or a publisher!
