Thank you for all of this. Was still mulling through your last comment...because I do (hope I do!) understand. Yes YES vets and all need to be paid! Enough to live! I'm a FT writer, and my spouse was a guitar teacher/musician. BUT in Canada we do have medical! Which immediately puts our poorest and low/medium income folks ahead of those south of us in terms of basic securities.

I DO think vets should be well paid, and so appreciate your points about all people paid. Then we can take proper care of animals too. You are so right about it being a mass of issues, oh my.
