Thanks for reading, and for asking! I had said I'd write an update... It took time, but they sent a response saying that have "determined other candidates to be a better fit." Though they also noted "this can change." I wonder if that means I'll need to send them $19 (CDN) every time I want to know if things have changed :) I do think that content writing is a great way to learn to write (and that's coming from someone with an MFA, who now teaches in an MFA program!) It teaches you to WRITE...and get words down quickly, and stop censoring and questioning everything...all good skills for when you are writing something that asks the opposite of you. Somewhere in my stories, I published one about the DIY MFA on Illumination...you might find interesting. Hey, let me know what comes of this for you! I hope my piece allows you to see the types of things you'll be asked for...and do mental prep beforehand!

Peace--

Alison
