This is a great piece! The closing lines really do sum--that's what matters. And love the writing, the humour...so important.

An interesting piece though about Sweden is the attitude toward homeschooling or even just EITHER parent attempting to remain at home with a child after those parental leave days are done...suddenly one becomes a pariah, if you want to be with your child...back to work you go! It is no utopia. (Note, yes, the whiteness...) I digress.

I am grateful for what you have written and will look for more. I have a novel in progress that has as main character a Dad-at-home, so you have helped me to see much closely--thank you!
